Our 2021-2022 Theme

Courageous Heart: Full & Free

Courageous Heart: Full & Free

Our hearts often feel afraid, grief-stricken, and lonely… especially after a year like 2020. But God has a plan. Not an “everything will be okay and go back to your so-called normal” kind of plan, but a plan to rescue and restore your weary heart. He wants to fill it with hope and freedom so that you can face whatever comes tomorrow with courage.

What if we lived like we really trusted Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life? What would we experience if we fully believed his Word and promises? What might change in our hearts if we knew that we are always loved and accepted by a mighty, merciful, slow to anger, and abounding-in-love God? What if we surrendered all the heavy, broken, and misplaced fears of our hearts to make space for whatever is beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind?

Maybe our hearts could be more courageous.

Courage in Christ shapes our relationship with God. He nurtures our mothering, relationships, work, home, and everything in between. When we give ourselves to God, our faith begins working itself out in us. We experience a courageous heart that is full and free to move in the ways of God.
